FAQs
Who do you work with?
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist that works with couples and individuals who want to work on themselves, both in and out of their relationships.
I work with people in all stages of life and transition to help them navigate the tough transitions in life and truly build a life they love. Whether you are thinking about getting married or have been married for 15 years; whether you are thinking about having kids or just brought your third little one home; whether you are considering divorce or are in the process of divorce… relationship focused therapy can help you build (or re-build) the life you want. The main goal is to help you find your true authentic self.
What does therapy look like?
You can consider therapy a roadmap for your self-discovery journey. As therapists, our primary goal is to help you create your desired reality and we may work on any number of tools to help you along the way, such as improving communication, building intimacy, anger management, decreasing conflict, or increasing self confidence.
Therapy does require un-compromised honesty and real work to achieve rewarding change but I am here to create a safe and comfortable environment as you embark on that journey.
How do I get started?
If you are ready to start untangling the knots in your life and relationships, we encourage you to set up a free phone consultation. During this exploratory conversation, we will discuss your current struggles and goals, as well as my approach and strategies.
If we are a good match, we will set up an initial appointment and develop a treatment plan specific to your needs and goals.
Do you accept Insurance? What method payments do you accept?
While we do not accept insurance, we do provide a super-bill that you will be able to send to your insurance company. We recommend you speak with your insurance company prior to making an appointment and inquire about your “out of network” mental health benefits. Based on your plan, your insurance will be able to let you know if, and how much, you will be reimbursed by them.
We accept credit card, check or cash.
Should I get individual or couples therapy?
Every individual has different needs. The magic in couples therapy is my ability to see reactions and triggers as they naturally happen in the therapy room. Within couples therapy, there is much work and focus on each individuals’ needs and growth. However, in some cases, individual therapy is prefered.
Feel free to contact us for a free phone consultation, where we can discuss your needs and goals and determine which route might be a better fit for you.
Do you offer any in-person services, if so, where?
We provide telehealth to individuals throughout California, as well as in person services in Southern California. Our office is located at 20300 Ventura Blvd., #330 Woodland Hills 91364.
